GENERAL INFORMATION
Optacom combines solid German engineering and ingenuity to create affordable roughness and contour measuring instruments. Optacom instruments are able to measure actual profiles and surface roughness through the use of high quality stylus probes and direct contact. With a resolution of less than 30 nanometers the Optacom range of contour and roughness measurement instruments provides excellent resolution at a fraction of the traditional systems are.
High quality design and build
Optacom uses high precision linear guiding systems while axial guides are made of an integral work piece. The main structure is made out of high-grade aerospace aluminum and Optacom even offers convenient features such as a self adjusting quick-release stylus to save additional time and money.
Optacom software is also easy to use and has been in use for years in production environments.
Optional Roundness and Composite Measuring
Best of all the VC-10 and VC-15 have optional circular and circular swivel tables that allow them to also measure roundness and make composite measurements.
