GENERAL INFORMATION

The Hermle modified gantry CNC system provides accurate, fast and ergonomic capability for tool, die and mold making. The 5 axis tool travel design allows for workpiece independant dynamics, which allows for consistantly high speed rapid traverses and feed rates of up to 45m/min. The C 20 also features the latest German technology allowing for automatic tool changes with the pick up procedure, as well as digital AC servo drives with pretensioned ball screws. The C20 also out-produces other CNC milling machines in the shop thanks to it's large chip clearance and collision protection and monitoring to ensure the C20 gets the most work done in limited time.

Tool and mould making with highly dynamic simultaneous 5-axes maching. The precision and speed in machining difficult parts also makes the C20 series ideally suited to medical engineering and the aerospace industry.
